11. Formal Translation Therefore, because you trample upon the poor and take from him a burden of grain, you have built houses of hewn stone, but you will not dwell in them; you have planted vineyards of delight, but you will not drink their wine. |
11. Dynamic Translation That is why—because you trample the poor and take grain payments from him—you may build stone mansions, but you will not live in them; you may plant desirable vineyards, but you will not drink their wine. |
