Formal Translation “Behold, days are approaching,” declares the Lord GOD {Yahweh Adonai, Sovereign Decree-Giver}, “and I will bring a famine into the land; it will not be a famine for bread, and it will not be a thirst for water, but for hearing the words of the LORD {Yahweh, Speaking Judge}.” |
11. Dynamic Translation “Listen, a time is coming,” says the Lord GOD {Yahweh Adonai, Supreme Commander}, “I will send a famine across the land; it will not be the lack of bread or the lack of water, but a desperate need to listen to the words of the LORD {Yahweh, Just Judge}.” |
