14. Formal Translation Having wiped away the handwriting against us in the decrees which were hostile to us, He {Christos, Debt-Canceling Savior} has taken it out of the midst, having nailed it to the cross. |
14. Dynamic Translation He {Christos, Victorious Crucified Lord} erased the record of our debt, with all its binding rules that stood against us, and removed it completely, nailing it to the cross. |
