16. Formal Translation And behold, one in the likeness of the sons of man touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spoke, and I said to the one standing before me, “My lord, because of the vision, my pains have turned upon me and I have retained no strength.” |
16. Dynamic Translation Suddenly, someone who looked like a human being reached out and touched my lips. So I opened my mouth and began to speak to the one standing in front of me, “My lord, this vision has caused me such pain that all my strength is gone.” |
