Wait for a more dramatic moment before taking God seriously

Treat routine days as spiritually empty unless something unusual happens

Focus only on future plans and ignore the present moment

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. Lord of My Days

Lord, revive your Church so we do not overlook you in ordinary days or familiar places. Make us attentive to the seasons you appoint, faithful where you have placed us, and quick to notice your work in small and hidden things. Wake us up again to your nearness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Us to Your Presence

Thank you, Father, that you notice our days and places with care. We bring you our routines, our waiting seasons, and the ordinary settings of life, and we thank you that none of them are beyond your sight.

Thank You for Knowing My Day

Name one specific day, place, or season that feels ordinary, and ask God to help you notice his presence there. Pray for a heart that is alert, grateful, and steady where you are.

Pray Over Today’s Place

Bring these to God: distraction that keeps you from noticing him; impatience with the season you are in; and a desire to be faithful in the place where you stand today.

Steady Attention

Father, I pray for someone who feels stuck in a routine or overlooked in a hidden place. Let them know that you see their day, strengthen them to keep going, and meet them with your peace, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Someone in a Quiet Season
