Seek God's purposes humbly, even without recognition

Push ahead forcefully, since a good cause cancels pride

Assume success proves every method was right

Avoid action so you never risk looking ambitious

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have rebelled against you and tried to lift myself up. I have sinned, and I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and surrender to you. Be my Lord and Savior, and lead me in your truth. Amen.

Surrender From Pride

Lord, revive your Church where we have chased our own honor and mixed pride with holy words. Make us a people who seek your purposes with clean hands, humble hearts, and steady obedience. Keep us from stumbling into self-importance, and awaken us to your vision again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church in Humility

Father, I confess the places where I have pushed myself forward, wanted credit, or treated my own plans as more important than yours. Forgive me, humble me, and teach me to obey your will with a willing heart, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wash Away Self-Exaltation

Pray for leaders, teams, and communities caught in rivalry: that they would turn from pride, seek wisdom, and choose actions that serve God's purposes rather than personal ambition.

For People in Conflict

Name one goal you want to win, ask God whether it is truly his will, and then pray for the humility to step back if it is not. Ask him to keep your heart from forcing an outcome, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Praying Before a Big Move

Father, thank you that human opposition does not cancel your purpose, and that self-made plans do not outrun your wisdom. Grow in me a steady trust in your vision, and teach me to walk humbly in your way, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
