41. Formal Translation And as you saw the feet and the toes, part of them was of potter’s clay and part was of iron; the kingdom shall be divided, yet there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, because you saw the iron mixed with miry clay. |
41. Dynamic Translation Just as you saw the feet and toes were partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, this kingdom will be divided; yet it will retain some of the iron’s toughness, since you saw the iron mixed with the clay into a sticky mud. |
