43. Formal Translation And as you saw the iron being mixed with clay and mud, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not cling to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay. |
43. Dynamic Translation You saw iron blended with clay and mud—they will attempt to merge with people’s descendants, but they will not truly unite with one another, just as iron does not really mix with clay. |
