24. Formal Translation Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in alarm. He answered and said to his counselors, "Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?" They answered and said to the king, "Certainly, O king." |
24. Dynamic Translation Suddenly, King Nebuchadnezzar was amazed and jumped up in panic. He spoke to his advisors, "Did we not throw three men, all tied up, into the center of the fire?" They replied to the king, "Yes, absolutely, O king." |
