Treat it as serious and respond promptly.

Focus on the messenger’s status and ignore the message.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have ignored your word and gone my own way. I admit my sin and my need for your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as Lord. Speak your truth over my life and make me yours. Amen.

Receive Jesus as Lord

Lord, revive your Church to speak your word clearly and boldly. Forgive us for shrinking your message, for hesitating when you have sent us, and for forgetting that your voice is for every people, every nation, and every language. Raise up faithful heralds again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church a Clear Herald

Thank God that his word is not reserved for one elite circle, but is proclaimed to all kinds of people; thank him for the mercy of being addressed, and for the clarity of his instruction.

Thank You for a Message for All

Father, give me ears that hear your instruction and a heart that responds without delay. Keep me from treating your word as background noise or as someone else’s concern. Make me ready to obey what you show me today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Start by naming one instruction from God you already know. Ask him to remove excuses, confusion, and delay, then ask for one next step you can obey today.

Pray Through One Clear Instruction

Pray for people who have not yet heard God’s word clearly; pray for translators, teachers, missionaries, and local believers; pray that every culture would receive the message with understanding and faith.
