Stay humble and use the attention to serve others

Make sure people notice you so the growth feels worthwhile

Keep the benefit to yourself so nothing changes

Assume the size of the thing proves you are already doing everything right

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to build my life in my own strength. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Come into my life, be my Lord, and make me new. Let my life belong to you and reflect your glory. Amen.

Receive Jesus and Be Made New

Lord, revive your Church so that we grow strong in faith, rooted in truth, and visible with your goodness across the earth. Keep us from pride, and make our lives point beyond ourselves to you. Let the world see your work in us and give you glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church Strong and Seen for You

Thank God for the places where he has caused real growth, strength, and healthy visibility. Give thanks for any calling, ministry, family, or work he has been building, and for his care over what is becoming large in your life.

Thank You for Growth You Give

Name one area of your life that is becoming more visible. Ask God whether it needs humility, steadiness, or pruning, and ask him for one next faithful step this week.

Praying About Influence

Pray for leaders, teachers, parents, and servants whose lives are widely noticed: that they would remain strong in character, gentle in spirit, and eager to serve rather than be admired.

For Those Whose Lives Are Seen

Bring these to God: any place where you want real strength instead of appearance; any fear of being noticed; any habit of seeking applause. Ask him to shape your heart as he grows your life.

When Growth Becomes Public
