That the Most High rules human kingdoms and gives them to whomever he chooses

That the people around him will decide when he returns

That the punishment ends as soon as he feels sorry

That the animals will accept him as their leader

Treat the season as a chance to ignore ordinary responsibilities

Assume hardship means God is no longer in charge

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to rule my own life. I need your mercy and your rightful rule over me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Bring me into your kingdom and teach me to follow you. Amen.

Receive the True King

Lord, revive your Church with fresh humility before your rule. Where we have chased status, control, or self-importance, bring us low in a healthy way so we may learn again that you rule over every human kingdom and choose as you will. Make us a people who trust your wisdom, submit gladly to your authority, and honor you above ourselves, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Bow Before You

Begin by naming one area where you resist being corrected or redirected. Ask God to humble you without crushing you, to teach you dependence, and to help you trust his rule even when you lose control.

Pray for a Humble Heart

Father, when I feel pushed aside, humiliated, or stripped of control, stay near to me. Keep me from bitterness, teach me what I need to learn, and let this hard season make me lean on you more deeply, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

When I Am Brought Low

Pray for rulers, managers, and anyone with authority: that they would remember the Most High is above them, govern with humility, and use power for the good of others.

For Leaders and Those With Power

Thank God that human kingdoms do not outrun him, that his rule is wise, and that he gives authority according to his will.

Thanks for Unshakable Rule
