Jump in quickly so you look wise right away.

Avoid the conversation until someone else handles it.

Treat the issue lightly because it is only a passing concern.

Lord, revive your Church with a spirit that can stand faithfully in hard places, listen well, and carry your truth without pride. Where we have chased recognition, humble us; where we have been silent, make us bold; where we have relied on ourselves, fill us again with your Spirit, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church with Wise Courage

Father, thank you that you can place your Spirit in your servants and make them useful in difficult places. Thank you for the grace to be trusted with truth. Help me honor your work in others and receive your gifts with humility, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Spirit-Given Wisdom

Father, forgive me for wanting to be impressive instead of faithful, and for speaking too quickly when I should listen. Cleanse my pride, give me a humble heart, and teach me to handle hard things with your wisdom, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive My Rush to Speak

Pray by naming one conversation, meeting, or question you expect this week. Ask God to slow your heart, sharpen your ears, and give you words that are honest, helpful, and humble.

Help Me Listen Before I Answer

Pray for someone who must respond to a hard question, interpret confusing information, or stand before people with authority. Ask God to give them Daniel-like calm, wisdom, and courage.
