If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, when I cannot understand the deepest matters of my life, I come to you. I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I ask you to forgive me, lead me, and make me new. Amen.

Come to Jesus for Mercy and Truth

Lord, revive your Church where we have trusted human skill more than your voice. Make us humble when answers are missing, honest when we do not know, and faithful to point people to you rather than to our own certainty. Renew your people with reverence, patience, and trust, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Seek Your Wisdom

Father, when I face a matter I cannot explain, keep me from pretending. Give me humility to admit my limits, courage to ask for help, and patience to wait for your light, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Help Me Admit What I Don't Know

Name the confusing situation before God, admit plainly that you do not have the answer, ask him to show what is true, and ask for a humble heart that can receive counsel. Then pray for one next faithful step.

Praying for Clarity

Pray for teachers, counselors, leaders, and friends who are asked to explain difficult matters: that they would speak carefully, refuse to exaggerate, and be quick to say when something is beyond them. Ask God to make them trustworthy guides who point others toward him.

For Teachers and Counselors

Thank God that his wisdom is not limited when human wisdom runs out. Give thanks for every honest helper, every good explanation, and every mystery that sends you back to him with trust.

Thankful for Honest Wisdom
