2. Formal Translation Belshazzar said, at the tasting of the wine, to bring the vessels of gold and silver that Nebuchadnezzar his father had brought out from the temple in Jerusalem, that the king and his nobles, his wives, and his concubines might drink from them. |
2. Dynamic Translation As Belshazzar tasted the wine, he ordered the golden and silver cups that Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken from the temple in Jerusalem to be brought, so he, his nobles, his wives, and his concubines could drink from them. |
