Focus on the setting more than the message

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you are holy and you see what I cannot hide. I admit that I have sinned and ignored your voice. I turn from my sin and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Come into my life, be my Lord, and write your truth on my heart. Amen.

Come to the God Who Sees

Lord, awaken your Church when you speak and we have grown dull. Make us humble, quick to repent, and ready to obey when you interrupt our comfort. Give us eyes to notice your warning and hearts that do not harden. Revive us with reverence and faith, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Your Church to Listen

Father, thank you that you do not leave people without a witness to your truth. Thank you that you can make your message visible and clear even in a proud place. Help us notice your mercy and your warning today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Speaking Clearly

Pray by naming one area of life where you have been slow to notice God's nudge. Ask for a humble heart, clear sight, and the courage to obey at once.

Pray Through the Place You Have Been Ignoring

Bring these to God: any habit of explaining away conviction; any fear that keeps you from listening; any place where you need to see his warning as mercy.

Open Eyes, Open Ears

Lord, when you show me what is true, keep me from hardening my heart. Help me to stop, repent, and change direction quickly when you correct me, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
