23. Formal Translation Then the king was exceedingly glad and commanded that Daniel be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was brought up out of the den, and no harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God {elahai, Divine Sustainer}. |
23. Dynamic Translation The king rejoiced greatly and ordered Daniel to be lifted from the pit. When he emerged, he was unharmed, because he had relied on his God {elahai, Faithful Preserver}. |
