Come to the Truth

Lord, where your Church has let truth be pushed down, wake us up again. Cleanse us from compromise, from loving success more than faithfulness, and from any rebellion that dulls our witness. Make us people who stand for what is true, even when pressure rises and evil seems to prosper, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Hold Truth High

Lord, when pressure rises and wrong seems to win, guard my heart from compromise. Keep me from calling evil successful and truth irrelevant. Make me steady, honest, and brave enough to do what is right, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard My Heart from Compromise

Pray by naming one place where wrongdoing seems to be winning, then ask God to keep truth from being buried there. Ask him for one faithful step you can take this week, and for courage to follow through.

Give thanks for: God's truth that does not disappear when people oppose it; his clear sight of wrongdoing; courage to honor what is right even when success is loud; the hope that truth is not defeated by human pressure.

Pray for: people who feel tempted to hide or bend the truth; leaders who must choose integrity over image; communities where wrongdoing seems rewarded; courage to keep faithfulness steady when success looks attractive.

Strength for People Under Pressure
