If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you in need of mercy and understanding. I confess that I have sinned and gone my own way. I turn from my sin and from trusting myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Please forgive me, come into my life, and be my Lord and Savior. Lead me in your truth and give me a heart that seeks you. Amen.

Receive the One Who Gives Understanding

Lord, awaken your Church to seek understanding from you again. Forgive us for rushing past your word, settling for guesses, and trusting our own ideas. Make us humble, attentive, and ready to stand before you with open hearts. Renew our hunger for truth and our willingness to wait for your light, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Seek You

Pray by naming the vision, question, or burden that is confusing you. Ask God for understanding, for patience to wait, and for courage to obey what he makes clear.

Pray for Clarity in What You Do Not Yet Understand

Pray for: people who feel confused by what God may be showing them; patience to keep seeking instead of giving up; wise friends who can help them discern well; a soft heart that wants truth more than ease.

For Those Still Searching

Father, thank you that you do not shame those who ask for understanding. Thank you for meeting seekers, for giving insight in your time, and for standing near when we are still learning to trust you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Meeting Seekers

Praise God for his wisdom, for his nearness to those who seek him, and for the way he can bring clarity where there was confusion. Praise him that he is not distant and that he is able to answer when we ask.
