27. Formal Translation And he will make a covenant strong with the many for one week, and for half of the week he will cause the sacrifices and offerings to cease. And over the wing of abominations will come the desolator, and until the consummation what has been decreed will be poured out upon the desolator. |
27. Dynamic Translation He will confirm a firm covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week he will stop the sacrifices and offerings. On the wing of detestable things a destroyer will come, and until everything is finished what has been decided will be poured out on the destroyer. |
