Set aside time to pray honestly, turn your focus to God, and practice a humble sign of repentance

Say a brief prayer, but keep depending mainly on your own plan

Wait until you feel spiritually strong enough to approach God

Make your seriousness visible so other people will notice it

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I turn from my sin and from living for myself. I admit that I need your mercy and cannot make myself right with God. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to lead me in a new life that seeks the Father with a humble heart. Amen.

Turn My Heart to You

Lord, wake your Church up from empty routine and self-reliance. Give us hearts that turn toward you, honest prayer, real repentance, and the humility to fast when we need to seek you deeply, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Our Seeking

Father, I turn my attention to you now. Where I have been proud, distracted, or casual, forgive me; teach me to seek you with sincerity and not with appearances, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Humble Heart Before You

Pray by naming one area where you need to turn back to God, then ask for grace to pray honestly, let go of one comfort for a time, and accept a humble posture before him.

Pray with Focus

Bring these to God: gratitude that he welcomes earnest seekers, a desire for prayer that is honest rather than showy, and willingness to be formed by humility, fasting, and repentance.

Grateful for a God Who Hears

Pray for someone who has drifted, someone who needs courage to repent, and someone who is learning to seek God again with prayer and humility.

Pray for Those Returning
