Deuteronomy 12:20:1כִּֽי־יַרְחִ֤יבkiyarkhivWhen will enlarge
Deuteronomy 12:20:2יְהוָ֨הyahwehthe LORD Deuteronomy 12:20:3אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָelohekhayour God Deuteronomy 12:20:4אֶת־גְּבֻלְךָ֗etgevulkhayour territory Deuteronomy 12:20:5כַּאֲשֶׁ֨רkaasheras Deuteronomy 12:20:6דִּבֶּ֤ר לְךָ֙diberlekhahe promised to you Deuteronomy 12:20:7וְאָמַ֣רְתָּveamartaand you say Deuteronomy 12:20:8אֹכְלָה־בָשָׂ֗רokhlabasarI will eat meat Deuteronomy 12:20:9כִּי־תְאַוֶּ֛ה נַפְשְׁךָ֥kiteave nafshekhabecause your soul craves Deuteronomy 12:20:10לֶאֱכֹ֥ל בָּשָׂ֖רleekhol basarto eat meat Deuteronomy 12:20:11כְּכָל־אַוַּת נַפְשְׁךָ֑kekholavat nafshekhaaccording to all the desire of your soul Deuteronomy 12:20:12תֹּאכֵֽל־בָּשָֽׂר׃tokhelbasaryou may eat meat
20. Formal Translation
When the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Border Expander} enlarges your territory as He spoke to you and you say, "I want to eat meat" because you crave meat with your soul, then you may eat meat according to all your soul’s desire.
20. Dynamic Translation
When the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Giver Of Abundance} broadens your land and you say, "I would like to have some meat" because your appetite wants to eat meat, you may eat as much meat as you desire.
