11. Formal Translation
For the poor will never cease from the midst of the land; therefore I command you to open your hand to your brother, to the poor, and to the needy in your land.
11. Dynamic Translation
There will always be poor people in your land, so I am telling you to be openhanded toward your brother, to the poor, and to the needy in your land.
