29. Formal Translation Just as the sons of Esau living in Seir and the Moabites living in Ar did for me, so let me pass through until I cross the Jordan into the land that the LORD our God {Yahweh Eloheinu, Covenant Giver} is giving to us. |
29. Dynamic Translation In the same way the descendants of Esau living in Seir and the Moabites living in Ar allowed me to pass through, let me continue until I cross the Jordan into the land the LORD our God {Yahweh Eloheinu, Land Provider} is giving to us. |
