5. Formal Translation Do not provoke them, for I {Yahweh, Boundary Setter} will not give you any of their land, not even as far as the sole of a foot, because I have given the hill country of Seir to Esau. |
5. Dynamic Translation Do not start a fight with them, because I {Yahweh, Territory Giver} will not let you have any of their land—not even enough for a single step. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own property. |
