2. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Commander} said to me, “Do not fear him, for I have placed him, all his people, and his land into your hand, and you shall deal with him as you dealt with Sihon king of the Amorites who dwells in Heshbon.” |
2. Dynamic Translation Then the LORD {Yahweh, Battle Leader} said to me, “Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you along with all his people and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites who lives in Heshbon.” |
