23. Formal Translation And it happened, when you heard the voice from the midst of the darkness, and the mountain was burning with fire, that you came near to me {Mosheh: Moses, appointed mediator}—all the heads of your tribes and your elders. |
23. Dynamic Translation When you heard the sound coming out of the darkness, with the mountain blazing in fire, all your tribal leaders and elders came close to me {Mosheh: Moses, appointed mediator}. |
