10. Formal Translation And it shall be, when the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Covenant Promise-Keeper} brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers—to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob—to give to you: cities great and good, which you did not build. |
10. Dynamic Translation When the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Faithful Giver} brings you into the land He promised to your ancestors—Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—and gives you large, prosperous cities you did not build. |
