16. Formal Translation The One who fed you {Yahweh, Provider in Wilderness} with manna in the wilderness, which your fathers did not know, so that He might humble you and so that He might test you, to do good to you in your latter end. |
16. Dynamic Translation He {Yahweh, Caring Sustainer} gave you manna to eat in the desert—a food your ancestors had never known—so that He could humble you and test you, aiming to bless you in the end. |
