3. Formal Translation
If a man begets a hundred children and lives many years—so that the days of his years are many—but his soul is not satisfied with good, and he does not even have a burial, I say that a stillborn is better than he.
3. Dynamic Translation
If a man has a hundred children and lives for many years—so long that his days are full—yet he finds no satisfaction in good things, and he does not even receive a proper burial, I say that a stillborn baby fares better than he.
