16. Formal Translation Memuchan said to the king and the princes, “Queen Vashti has wronged not only the king but also all the princes and all the peoples who are in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus.” |
16. Dynamic Translation Then Memuchan spoke before the king and the officials, “Queen Vashti has not only offended the king but has also wronged all the officials and all the people throughout the provinces of King Ahasuerus.” |
