9. Formal Translation
Haman went out that day joyful and with a glad heart, yet when he saw Mordechai at the king’s gate and Mordechai neither rose nor trembled in his presence, Haman was filled with fury against Mordechai.
9. Dynamic Translation
Haman left that day in high spirits and with a good heart, but when he saw Mordechai at the king’s gate and noticed that he neither rose nor trembled before him, Haman boiled over with anger at Mordechai.
