11. Formal Translation So Haman took the robe and the horse, and he clothed Mordecai and mounted him to ride through the street of the city. Then he proclaimed before him, “Thus it shall be done for the man whom the king delights to honor.” |
11. Dynamic Translation Then Haman got the robe and the horse, dressed Mordecai, and led him on horseback down the city’s main street. He called out, “This is what is done for the man the king chooses to honor!” |
