13. Formal Translation And Haman recounted to Zeresh his wife and to all his friends everything that had happened to him. Then his wise men and Zeresh his wife said to him, “If Mordechai is from the seed of the Jews, before whom you have begun to fall, you will not be able to prevail against him; for you will surely fall before him.” |
13. Dynamic Translation Haman told Zeresh, his wife, and all his friends everything that had happened to him. His advisers and Zeresh responded, “If Mordechai is of Jewish descent and you have already begun to fall before him, you cannot succeed against him—you will certainly fall before him.” |
