23. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Protector} will pass through to strike Egypt, and the LORD will see the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts. Then the LORD will pass over the entrance, and the LORD will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you. |
23. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Deliverer} will move through to attack Egypt, and the LORD will see the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts. The LORD will pass over that doorway, and the LORD will not allow the destroyer to enter your homes to harm you. |
