27. Formal Translation And you shall say, “It is the Passover sacrifice to the LORD {Yahweh, Redeemer}, who passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians but delivered our houses.” Then the people bowed down and worshiped. |
27. Dynamic Translation This is the Passover offering for the LORD {Yahweh, Mighty Protector}, who spared the homes of Israel’s families in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians but rescued our homes. Then the people bowed low and worshiped. |
