Exodus 12:39:1וַיֹּאפ֨וּvayofu{And} they baked

39. Formal Translation
And they baked the dough which they had brought out of Egypt into cakes of unleavened bread, for it had not become leavened because they had been driven out of Egypt and could not delay; and they had not prepared any provision for themselves.
39. Dynamic Translation
They baked the dough they had brought out of Egypt into flat loaves because it had no time to rise; they had been forced out of Egypt and could not linger, nor had they packed any provisions for themselves.
