| 25. Formal Translation If you lend silver to my {Yahweh, Guardian of the Community} poor among you, you shall not assume the role of a creditor, nor impose interest on him. |
| 25. Dynamic Translation When you make a loan of money to one of my {Yahweh, Protector of the Vulnerable} people who is needy among you, do not act like a profit-driven lender, and do not require interest. |
