| 27. Formal Translation For it is his only covering; it is his cloak for his skin—what else will he sleep in? And it shall be that when he cries out to Me {elai, Compassionate Hearer}, I will hear, for I am gracious. |
| 27. Dynamic Translation That cloak is the one covering he has. Without it, how can he lie down to sleep? If he cries out to Me {elai, Merciful Listener}, I will listen, for I am compassionate. |
