| 7. Formal Translation If a man gives silver or goods to keep to his neighbor, and they are stolen from the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double. |
| 7. Dynamic Translation If someone puts money or belongings in a neighbor’s care for safekeeping, and they are stolen from that person’s house, if the thief is caught, he must pay back twice as much. |
