| 6. Formal Translation If a fire goes out and finds thorns, and a heap or the standing grain or the field is consumed, the one who kindled the burning must make complete restitution. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation If a fire breaks out and spreads to thorns so that it burns up stacks of grain or the standing crops or even the whole field, the one who started the fire must pay back in full for all the damage. |
