Exegesis

The beneficiaries, introduced as ‘poor ones of your people’ (evyonei ammekha), precede the subordinate clause veyitram tokhal chayat hasadeh {וְיִתְרָ֕ם תֹּאכַל֖ חַיַּת הַשָּׂדֶה | wə-yit-rām tō-ḵal ḥa-yyāṯ ha-śā-ḏeh} ‘and what remains the beast of the field shall eat,’ shifting provision to wildlife.
