Exegesis
The Qal imperfect tišmôr{תִּשְׁמֹר | tiš-môr} issues a covenant command, modified by the temporal clause šivʿat yāmîm{שִׁבְעַת יָמִים | šivʿat yāmîm} “seven days,” governing the action tōʾaḥal māṣṣōṯ{תֹּאכַל מַצּוֹת | tōʾaḥal māṣṣōṯ} “eat unleavened breads.”
