Formal Translation You shall observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days and eat unleavened bread as I{Yahweh, Sovereign Legislator} have commanded you at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you went out from Egypt. No one shall appear before My face empty-handed. |
| 15. Dynamic Translation Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread for seven days by eating only unleavened bread as I{Yahweh, Liberating Guide} instructed you at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, because that is when you came out of Egypt. No one should come before Me empty-handed. |
