16. Formal Translation Go and gather the elders of Israel and say to them, "The LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Redeemer} the God {Elohei, Ancestral Protector} of your fathers, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has appeared to me and said, 'I have surely attended to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt.'" |

Dynamic Translation Go, assemble the elders of Israel and tell them, "The LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Promise Keeper} the God {Elohei, Forefathers' Guardian} of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has appeared to me and declared, 'I have paid close attention to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt.'" |
