10. Formal Translation Because, and also because they have led my people astray, saying “Peace,” and there is no peace; and when he builds a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash. |
10. Dynamic Translation Because they kept deceiving my people by saying, “Everything is peaceful”, when there is no peace, and when someone puts up a wall, others smear it with whitewash. |
