Exegesis

The Hifil perfect vehitzalti {וְהִצַּלְתִּי | wə-ḥiṣ-ṣal-tī} ‘and I will deliver’ signals divine intervention regarding ammi {עַמִּי | ʿam-mî} ‘my people’, with the direct object marker et {אֶת־ | ʾet} and the prepositional phrase miyedkhen {מִיֶּדְכֶן | mi-yed-khēn} ‘from your hand’.
