| 20. Formal Translation Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in its midst, as I live, declares the LORD GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Sovereign Master}, they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they, by their righteousness, would deliver only their own lives. |
| 20. Dynamic Translation Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were living there, as surely as I live, says the LORD GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Supreme Ruler}, they could not save a son or a daughter; they would escape only with their own lives because of their righteousness. |
