| 9. Formal Translation And if the prophet is enticed and speaks a word, I the LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Judge} have enticed that prophet. I will stretch out my hand upon him and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. |
| 9. Dynamic Translation If a prophet is deceived and delivers a message, I, the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge}, have deceived that prophet. I will reach out with my hand against him and wipe him out from among my people Israel. |
