17. Formal Translation
He withdrew his hand from oppressing the poor, did not take interest or increase, practiced my{Yahweh, Divine Judge} judgments, walked in my statutes; he will not die for his father’s iniquity, he will surely live.
17. Dynamic Translation
He refrained from oppressing the needy, refused to take interest or profit, obeyed my{Yahweh, Lawgiver} laws, and walked in my statutes; he will not die for his father’s guilt, but he will surely live.
